2022 Darwin Fringe Zine Fair – APPLY NOW
The Darwin Fringe Zine Fair is coming back! Zines are like the paper-y essence of Fringe – DIY, affordable and just the right amount of scrappy.
Submissions are now open for all kinds of zinemakers to have a table at the fair. Sell/swap/share your wares in the Brown’s Mart Courtyard on the last Saturday of Fringe. If you make/print other things (T-shirts, stickets, chatterboxes) you can bring those too!
Never made a zine before? Dream some up and apply anyway. You could even come to our Zine Workshop to prepare. Poetic, erotic, journalistic, caustic, fantastic – we want it all!
$5 for half a table / $10 for a whole table.
Submissions close: Sunday June 5
The Fringe Zine Fair is free to attend and open to the public, but artists are encouraged to charge for their zines or swap with others.
When: 2-6pm Sunday 17th July
Where: Fringe Hub – Brown’s Mart Courtyard
* Please note that applications from First Nations people, People of Colour and LGBTQI+ people will be prioritised. No successful applications will be turned away from lack of funds. Applications will not be judged on ‘professional quality’ or experience, it just helps us to know if your work is appropriate for the space.
