The Open Curtain is an acting company based locally in Darwin, NT. Founded by an eighteen-year-old with a dream, our mission is to “open the curtain” to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, abilities, sexuality, beliefs, backgrounds, and experience. We priotise local youth voices, celebrating all artists aged 13-25.
We develop our own shows and productions from scratch, giving young people the chance to create works, engaging in every step of the process. Darwin doesn’t have enough opportunities for Territorians to get into the arts, and we hope to remedy that with TOC.
