Northern Territory Craft Award 2026
Tactile Arts proudly presents the Northern Territory Craft Award in July 2026, celebrating the remarkable skill, diversity and innovation of makers and craftspeople across the Northern Territory. From traditional practices to contemporary approaches, the award shines a spotlight on craft in all its forms and recognises the strength of making in our region.
The exhibition showcases selected works by Northern Territory craftspeople working across a wide range of craft disciplines and mediums, highlighting the depth and breadth of creative practice in the Territory. The Award is a celebration of material-based making with a focus on technique and skills.
Join the opening night and celebrate the winners on the Friday 10th July from 5:30pm or visit the exhibition between Saturday 11 July to Saturday 25 July 2026. Our gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 2pm.

Access:
- We accept various forms of contact (written, verbal etc) this includes for complaints and bookings.
- Staff are trained in basic disability awareness.

- Seating options are available in all spaces for people with mobility issues.
- Car park suitable for wheelchair transportation available within 2 minutes of the venue entrance.
- Railing is used where appropriate (stairs and toilets etc).
