Om Tom

Thomas Begg is a comedian, storyteller and musical performer whose work blends absurd ideas, nostalgia, and audience interaction. He is best known for Holographic Charizard, the cult musical comedy where every song is about the legendary Pokémon, combining comedy, acoustic guitar, and booster packs to create a joyful, high-energy experience.

When he’s not helping people chase impossible dreams with Charizard, Tom shares his love of language and culture through Learning Indonesian with Om Tom, an interactive workshop where audiences pick up practical Indonesian while having fun and laughing along the way.

Tom has toured comedy and fringe festivals across Australia, building devoted followings for both his shows. He has a knack for turning strange ideas into shared, unforgettable experiences, leaving audiences entertained, inspired, and sometimes slightly obsessed with Pokémon or Indonesian phrases.
