Mariah O’Dea

Mariah O’Dea is a one-woman multi-disciplinary performing artist and comedian based in Boorloo, WA. Her performance experience includes a BA (Honours) in Performing Arts from WAAPA, and work in acting, comedy, improvisation, writing, movement, puppetry, burlesque and hula hooping.

‘#thenewme’ was Mariah’s first work, a satirical sketch show on our social media lives, premiering as part of FRINGE WORLD in 2022. It went on to feature in Sydney Fringe Festival (2022) and critically acclaimed encores in 2024 in both FRINGE WORLD and in Perth Comedy Festival.

‘THIS IS THE WORST’ made its premiere at Perth Fringe World 2026 and was nominated for the Tour-Ready Fringe Award.
