2026 Final Marketing Info

This form is to submit final marketing info for shows accepted into the 2026 Darwin Fringe Festival program. Information is due midnight Sunday March 15th.

This may seem earlier than previous years and it is. This is because for the first time ever the Printed Guide will be released on May 1st. So we’re going to print 3 weeks earlier and will have a harder deadline.

Some of this may seem repetitive but it gives our team a chance to make sure we’re getting your information right as things may have changed since you submitted your application. We thank you for your understanding. Re-submitting all of your information via a form means that there are less chances of things going wrong, if you send us small corrections through email threads, texts etc it can easily be lost.

You can save this form for up to 30 days and come back to it later. After this time you will have to re-start your form.

All information supplied is FINAL. Any content supplied after this time may not make it to print.

Are you happy for people to be aloud to come for free if they chose? You could set a $5 minimum for example.
Ticketing
We accept Companion Cards at Fringe, this means that carer’s can get free entry to bring people to the event. Only one carer per patron is permitted. If you have any questions about how this works please reach out.

If you’re looking to make a return on your event you will need to write down at least one price. You will also be able to request promo codes or specials sales through the final marketing form at a later date.

PLEASE list GROUP and FAMILY prices as the individual ticket price and not the entire group (eg. if your full family price is $40, write $10 ea).

Not sure how much to charge? Check out page 13 of our Artist Pack for tips on how to approach budgeting your show. That way you have the best chance to come out on top.

PS. Don’t forget to consider the inside ticketing fees (page 12 of the Artist Pack) and hub charges (if applicable, find more on pages 9-10 of the Artist Pack) when determining your ticket price.

Fringe Mob is our membership that Fringe fans can purchase to get discounted merch, free access to the closing party and other benefits.

The benefit for you is that your show will receive additional promotion support by being directly marked to Fringe Mob holders. It is not mandatory or expected that you offer a discounted price for members as we understand that this can effect your budget – this is only an option for those that are interested.

Would you like to run a ticketing promotion?
We can run 2 x styles of promotions but you can only chose 1 as we don’t have the staffing to manage multiple.

If you would like to create a coupon code to give out then please type the codeword below. Whatever you type below is final and it must all be one word. It will be up to you to distribute this code word.

If it’s a special members only code word you could send it out in your newsletter or maybe it’s for your social media followers.
What is the price of the discounted coupon ticket?
OPTION 2 | Discount promotion
This is for tickets to be sold at a discounted rate for a certain period of time, for example Early Bird Tickets. Early Bird Tickets are when the first round of tickets are a little bit cheaper. Encouraging your audience to get in sooner.
To organise a discount promotion you need to tell us:
1. How much discount to apply to your regular ticket prices
2. What dates do you want the promotion to run for? FYI Tickets go on sale May 1st.

What warning should audiences be aware of when coming to see your show:
Is there a lockout with your show?
For example: Any patrons who are later than 10 minutes cannot enter as we don’t want to be interrupted due to nudity. Generally we will let audiences in quietly if they are late but some shows may chose to have a period of the show where patrons can’t enter due to wanting a full blackout or reading of a heavy work that you don’t want to be interrupted. It’s good to let patrons know in advance.

– Your marketing image should not contain any text (even if it’s the title of your show)
– We highly recommend not using AI out of respect to the artists whose work was stolen to create the software. We’re happy to provide tips on free alternate, ethical options. You should know that there are growing amounts of people who will not support attend events that use AI in unethical ways so this could directly impact your ticket sales.
– DO NOT send us your poster or logo.
– Photographs are recommended wherever possible.

FACEBOOK EVENTS The Darwin Fringe does not make facebook events for shows* however we will co-host them with you! That way they still show up on our page and yours. *We do make Facebook events for Fringe Club, Courtyard performances and the Opening Night Party that we will send you a co-host request for.

You will need a public facebook PAGE to make an event that can be co-hosted by us. This is different to your PERSONAL account. If this is a concern for you please feel free to reach out.

WE DO NOT just share facebook events during the festival as this becomes ineffective when you start promoting almost 150 different performances. WE ARE however very happy to share other content such as photos and videos. Get creative and let yourself stand out! PS. You can share this content with us as it becomes available just tag @darwinfringefestival on facebook or instagram, our hashtag is #darwinfringe

Each year we sell extra advertising spots within our program that has 5,000 copies distributed around Darwin and surrounds.
