KISSED THE DIRT
July 12 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Mataranka…the land of the Never Never…where the sun kisses the red dirt. A rather small town with a minor reputation. Can’t imagine a quiet town being anymore quiet, could you? Wrong. We’ve been thrown out four hours and twenty-two minutes from Darwin, right in he heart of Mataranka…and hold it there mate… hang on…where’s Milo? Did someone just say Milo is missing? Looks like things just got a little dirtier around here…Just to take a note, let me get this right for the record…one ute with a knife puncture, a duffle bag of clothes, a few ransom letters, a pregnancy and three awfully guilty looking people…and now the question remains…where the hell is Milo Gunn? The call to the station was made four days after Milo was assumed missing by his lovely wife Rosie Gunn…a guilty conscience you could say? Nah, probably not. But Milo’s older cousin Graham Skinner joins her at the table, along with a friend, Drew Hatton, the town’s groundskeeper to run over Milo’s last days here in Mataranka.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Mahli Seden is a nineteen year old young emerging artist from Darwin. She’s currently studying at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, where she is in her second year completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting. Mahli started up ‘moos productions’ in 2023 when she did her first show for Darwin Fringe Festival titled ‘ROTTEN’. The show sold out both of its nights in the festival. ‘moos productions’ was kind of like a front to her directing, writing, producing, and acting, instead of mentioning them all she just put it in one, ‘moos productions’, because that was essentially what she was doing…putting on a production. She hopes to make ‘moosproductions’ a real company some day but for now she’s enjoying making freelance art and theatre with people she holds close to her heart. This time around she is working with two close friends of hers, Chloe Hitzke and Lilla Murray-Govan (YIPEE!!!!). They all met in their high school drama class doing multiple shows and showings together. The three of them share the same love for the Arts, and can’t wait for you to see this one!
