Sexy Safety Dispensers
We’re teaming up with NT Sexual Health to present the Sexy Safety Dispenser program again!
Creatives of all skills levels are encouraged to think up and make your own fun dispenser to hold free lube, gloves, dental dams and condoms for festival goers. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box! (pun intended)
WE RECOMMEND reading through this form and saving your application if you need more time. You can save your application and come back to it for up to 30 days.
BRIEF
SEE PREVIOUS EXAMPLES HERECONSIDERATIONS
☆ Needs to be sturdy and be able to withstand people putting their hands into, around and on it repeatedly.☆ Textures are always fun to play with but please keep it safe. Nothing scratchy or sharp.
☆ Sexy is welcomed but please remember that the dispenser will be kept in a public space and we want everyone to feel safe. We’re more than happy to discuss ideas with you to find a compromise.
THE BUDGET
Artist Fee is $250 and you get $150 for materials. Once accepted we will get you to invoice us for your material fee. You will invoice us for the artwork after you drop it off.SIZE
Needs to be able to sit in a corner of a room or on a counter-top. Small designs welcome (it’s not the size that matters, it’s what you do with it). Height should be no bigger than a metre and a half. Just needs to fit the condoms, lube, dental dams and gloves.MATERIALS
Recycled materials are totally welcome and encouraged! The dispenser just needs to stay alive for 10 days and to be safe to touch. If it can stay alive longer then that’s even better, we’ll find it a home so the art can live on (unless you would like to keep your creation).LOOK
Whatever you want! Don’t be afraid to get weird or use puns. It doesn’t have to have the Darwin Fringe Festival colours but if you would like it to then go ahead! Our colours are: GREEN #00b355 | PINK #E52C61. Oh and don’t forget the crocodiles!6 STEP PROJECT TIMELINE
