Sex Toy Story

SPOKEN WORD & IDEAS
Don’t be shy— Pip may not have any formal qualifications, but they DO have years of experience telling people what would make them orgasm, and they took it very seriously.
This is a night for everyone: those who have used sex toys, those who haven’t, those who are scared to, and those who just want a good laugh and a blush. The ignorant, the bold, the nervous and the highly experienced! Every gender or lack of, and every age (over 18)!
Pip will tell all: stories about the horrors of having to convince people to use lube, advice on how to buy a toy you might actually like, and bemoan just how little common sense some people have. They’re here to help, no judgments or strings attached!
They’ll take questions, offer advice, and give you a good time— don’t get too excited, we just mean the show.
About the artist
Pip O’Shea has been working with local group Big Dog Salad since their first Darwin Fringe Show, Big Dog Salad LIVE (2021), which was reprised in Adelaide Fringe (2023). They appeared in further local shows Last Call (2021), Under the Table (2022), A Showcase of Shorts (2023), and Romeo and Juliet (2023), and helped to create 2023 SPARKS film Hephaestion. They’ve dipped their thumbs into costume, lighting, and design, and now are creating their first solo show Sex Toy Story to blend their passions for stage and safe, sane sex toy shopping.
