Online Call Out: Portrait Of A Teenage Territorian

The Northern Centre for Contemporary Art (NCCA) have recently announced that their scheduled exhibition Portrait Of A Teenage Territorian is still calling for submissions and going online-only due to public health recommendations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition is for teens, by teens, and is expressly calling for under 18s to submit an artwork to the exhibition. This is a rare chance for very young artists to get some exhibition experience in NCCA.

The aim of Portrait of a Teenage Territorian is to show teenagers as they see themselves, on their own terms. We are looking for portraits that show artistic flair and creativity, and go beyond selfies and headshots to explore the character, times and places of teens in the NT today.
