For residents of the Top end, the word “”Troppo”” is used to describe the charm, beauty, complexity and challenges of life in the Territory. In Italian, the word translates to mean ‘a lot’ or ‘too much’.
Tony Business, Nonna Binary and Gloria Hole are troppo people, navigating their troppo lives with all the wit, glamour and drama of a Queer Italian Drag family.
This one-person theatre show made by one of Darwin’s most affordable artists uses storytelling, music, audio-visuals and movement to present a glamorously camp spectacle about self-discovery, connection, family and community.

Tony is a local drag artist who performs as members of Italian Drag family made up of Tony Business, Gloria Hole and Nonna Binary. They draw from their Italian Heritage.
