To be opened by the artist 5.30pm Saturday 12 July
Have you ever wondered “How did we end up here?” Would you have ever thought there would be such a thing as taxing penguins? Sloppy: How boys broke the world is a preview of the last 20 years of the internet. From 4chan to AI, to DOGE, the internet has become a carriage for good as well as great harm. Eroding long-standing institutions and governance, radicalising people’s attention and addicting them to content, all the while, allowing elites and oligarchs to capture democracy and change the way we think.
