Through sculpture, painting, and installation, IΩANNA reveals intimate explorations of her own identity, offering a mirror for audiences to turn inward and awaken their creative spirit. Each session culminates in a ceremony akin to a summoning, channelling the tension between innovation and impermanence.

IΩANNA is an artist who tests the boundaries of traditional sculpture. Her style shifts between botanical and mechanical forms, dissecting themes of transformation, identity, and the collision of nature with technology. Through interactive performances, she excavates her Greek heritage though conjuring mythologies into vivid, personified forms. Her latest showcase takes place at the Golden Owl, a historic, artist-run warehouse that has survived since before Cyclone Tracy.
