Dry
Comedy
Ever wonder why we do the things we do and why it means so much to us? Garry O’Sullivan has………..for quite some time………….and the result might surprise you. He has tried ice baths, he has felt the raw power of energised crystals, shit he has even aligned his chakra to Himalayan rock salt all so you don’t have to, and trust him you don’t want to! The result? well, its dry and let’s just say it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Garry will guide you through a raw analysis of human nature and some of the phenomenally stupid things we do in the pursuit of a perceived #bestlife. Get ready to be enlightened because if you are not laughing you are learning. It will be Dry.
3 ½ stars Galm Adelaide – (Adelaide fringe 2023), NT Raw finalist (multiple years).
About the artist
Garry O’Sullivan started doing stand-up in 2018. It allows him valuable time with a captive audience to vent crazy ideas that pop into his brain. Prior to this he was wondering what to do with the seven voices continually chattering inside his tiny mind. Recent reviews have produced “he was ok….i suppose” and “it wasn’t terrible, more……mediocre”. His friends have been heard to say “I thought he would have given up by now?” and “is he still doing comedy?….sheesh!” See him to find out how one man’s quest to be a mediocre comedian is progressing!
