COVID UPDATE 2.0

Dear Fringe Supporter, this is an incredibly sad and difficult post for us to share.  After much deliberation a decision has been made to cancel all performances across the first weekend of the festival (2-4 July).

With our community in mind we cannot configure a way to create a safe, accessible experience for everyone over those couple of days. Especially moments after the completion of a lockdown (fingers crossed). Without safety, it won’t be Fringe. We are greatly saddened by this outcome and appreciate your continued support.

We are still hoping to bring you a smaller, more intimate Fringe from Tuesday 6 July. We don’t know exactly how things will look, but at this stage we are rescheduling as much as possible so you can still bite into some tasty independent art.

Artists and ticket holders are asked to check your email for further information. We should be in contact with you within the next 24 hours.

Again we cannot stress the importance of looking after yourself and each other at this time. In particular, our thoughts are with all the artists who contribute to Fringe, who share their stories and make this incredible festival possible.

We will share more updates in the coming days as we respond to Northern Territory Government announcements.

Sincerely
Hannah and the Darwin Fringe Team
