About Arts NT
Arts NT, a division within the Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities, provides funding through the Northern Territory Arts Grants Program to support opportunities, initiatives and projects that recognise, develop, and showcase the value of the Territory’s arts and culture sector. This funding supports employment, skills development and showcasing opportunities. Artists and arts workers are the heart of the Northern Territory’s arts, culture and creative sector contributing value, vibrancy, and innovation to the Northern Territory.
Dedicated funding is available to emerging artists through the Emerging Artists sub-category of the Arts Projects grants, as well as the NXT Gen ARTS grants which support work placements with arts organisations and creative industry businesses. In addition, there are small grants available to support activities on short notice or for skills development opportunities to progress in an arts career.
