An intimate evening with Pixie is an emotional rollercoaster of lyrics and stories that will take the audience on a journey of their own experiences of love , heartbreak, happiness , sadness and emotion …… it’s the journey of life.
Originally from Sydney Pixie now calls Darwin home for the past 15 years and participates in covers and original gigs around town thought playing at airlie beach festival of music 2023 and 2021 being a passport to airlie finalist and competing in an original music competion
Pixies raw acoustic yet somewhat quirky style can be likened to that of Stella Donnelly, Angie McMahon, julia stone and ani difranco as she dabbles with genres such as alt folk , folk pop and indie ballads
Pixies heart on your sleeve lyrics are like reading pages straight out of her diary – she takes you with her as she explores her innermost thoughts emotions and desires.
About the artist
Pixie Keenan is a singer songwriter , originally from
Sydney but has called Darwin home for 15 years
Playing guitar and writing songs since a teen she now plays her originals and cover songs in amd around darwin venues and festivals with the biggest highlight being airlie beach festival of music 2021 and 2023
Her Raw and acoustic somewhat quirky style can be likened to that of Stella Donnelly , Angie McMahon , Courtney Barnett and ani difranco as she dabble in genres such as alt folk folk pop and indie ballads
Pixie will be getting back into the studio april 2024 to record her debut ep ……. So watch this space !!
