About the artist
Beth Lucas returned to the industry in late 2021 with a new alt-country sound and has been busy carving her path within the country space, recently joining viral US country artist, Alexandra Kay, on her maiden Australian headline tour.
February 2024 sees Beth release her third country offering, ‘Rearview Mirror’. Beth teamed up with James North (Karise Eden, Andy Penkow) to record and produce the track, which features drums by US-based Travis McNabb (Sugarland, Megan Moroney).
Beth took first place in The Ekka’s Country Music Showdown, where she was a finalist for the second year in a row, impressing industry judges with her stage presence and song craft.
In January 2023, Beth graduated from CMAA The Academy of Country Music Australia’s senior course as the recipient of the Keith Urban Scholarship. Following the Academy, Beth had multiple appearances at TCMF and was a finalist in the Radio 2TM “Discovered” competition.
