2026 Application: Video & Audio Response
Apply now to be part of the Darwin Fringe 2026 Hub program and present your work in Brown’s Mart Theatre, Brown’s Mart Studio, Brown’s Mart Courtyard, Civic Park and AANT (previously Darwin Entertainment) Centre. These venues are subsidised by the Fringe and are curated – meaning we pick the shows so we want to hear about your great art and unique voice before programming.
This form is specifically for people who are unable to complete the written application. If you are able to complete the written form you can CLICK HERE to find the correct application.
We can also dictate for you over the phone or in the office or accept answers via email.

☆ How will a fee waive will support your show? We are offering 10 subsidised opportunities this year to be part of the festival minus the registration fees. Registration fees: 1-2 shows = $100 / 3 or more shows = $150 (if you are producing multiple events you will need to pay a fee for each individual event) (if applicable)
☆ Why should your show be in a hub venue? (Hub & Performance Applications only) We program works that are any combination of the following:
• new, risky, experimental, bold,
• profiles unique and important voices,
• showcases diverse narratives,
• profiles local arts,
• highlights regional artists, or
• contributes to cultural diversity or offer audience development.
☆ Compile additional links to previous work, reviews, social media etc
☆ What production requirements does your show have?
☆ Figure out when you’re available and want to put on the show: Festival dates are 16-27 July 2026.
