2026 Application: Video & Audio Response

Apply now to be part of the Darwin Fringe 2026 Hub program and present your work in Brown’s Mart Theatre, Brown’s Mart Studio, Brown’s Mart Courtyard, Civic Park and AANT (previously Darwin Entertainment) Centre. These venues are subsidised by the Fringe and are curated – meaning we pick the shows so we want to hear about your great art and unique voice before programming.

This form is specifically for people who are unable to complete the written application. If you are able to complete the written form you can CLICK HERE to find the correct application.



We can also dictate for you over the phone or in the office or accept answers via email.

☆ How will a fee waive will support your show? We are offering 10 subsidised opportunities this year to be part of the festival minus the registration fees. Registration fees: 1-2 shows = $100 / 3 or more shows = $150 (if you are producing multiple events you will need to pay a fee for each individual event) (if applicable)
☆ Why should your show be in a hub venue? (Hub & Performance Applications only) We program works that are any combination of the following:


• new, risky, experimental, bold,
• profiles unique and important voices,
• showcases diverse narratives,
• profiles local arts,
• highlights regional artists, or
• contributes to cultural diversity or offer audience development.

Please provide an image to accompany your event listings in our printed program and on our website. This is NOT the last time that you can supply this content, successful applicants will have another chance to submit a final image so if you have a future photoshoot planned that’s fine, you can submit something temporary. Final images are due March 15th in order to be included in the print program.

– Your marketing image should not contain any text (even if it’s the title of your show)
– We highly recommend not using AI out of respect to the artists whose work was stolen to create the software. We’re happy to provide tips on free alternate options.
– DO NOT send us your poster or logo.
– Photographs are recommended wherever possible.
– Minimum 72 PPI at 2000px delivered as TIFF, JPG or EPS

☆ I understand that if I accept an offer for the 2026 Darwin Fringe Festival that there will be a cancellation fee of $350 associated with the withdrawal of my event, this fee can be appealed in the circumstance of injury, emergency etc.
☆ I will be capable of producing the show that I have discussed and in the case of any change I will let the Fringe team know.
☆ I will treat this relationship professionally and understand that the Fringe team who work part time may take a moment to respond to non-urgent requests.
☆ I will check my emails regularly for Fringe communications including my spam inbox.

☆ I will be available for the FREE workshop day on Saturday March 7th, 2026 and if I am not available I will let the Fringe team know.
