Moon is a mixed media artist originally from Cape Town, South Africa, now based in Darwin. She works across paint, pastels, clay and digital drawing, often creating playful, strange characters alongside more expressive figurative work. Her practice explores identity, humour, survival and the relationship people have with their own bodies. Moon enjoys working in a loose, tactile way and often uses her hands as much as brushes, letting the process stay messy and physical. She has a background in visual communication and design, but her personal work leans more toward experimentation, curiosity and making whimsical creations.
