Theatre Maker, Playwright, Live Performance Artist and self-proclaimed Professional Fun Person, Danielle Aquilina is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist known for blending comedy with raw, poetic storytelling. Armed with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Performance major), Danielle’s career spans improvisational comedy, original theatre-making and large-scale live entertainment. .
Following the award-winning success of her semi-autobiographical solo show Fat Girl, Danielle now turns her razor-sharp lens toward modern queerness with her newest work, Am I Gay Enough? — a comedic slam poetry and ukulele-fuelled exploration of bisexual identity, imposter syndrome and the messy, glorious in-between.
