After shooting since he was a teenager, Jared switched to film photography and development in his early 20s. Focusing mainly on the streets of Melbourne, his work captures themes such as isolation and anonymity.
After several trips overseas to India, Europe and Japan his work as developed and evolved, capturing everyday lives and scenes.
In 2019, Jared travelled to Hong Kong for 3 weeks to witness first hand the pro-democracy protests. Capturing the events as one of the only photojournalists shooting on film.
Now residing in Darwin.
In 2019, ZWOLF zine was launched, a monthly zine based on theme. Followed by Bipolar in 2020.
