WILD NORTH COMICS exhibition and comic book launch at Darwin Visual Arts Gallery ofcelebrates Darwin own quarterly graphic novel anthology featuring some of the best artists and writers working in the comic book medium from across the Northern Territory and Australia.

Our fourth issue book launch and exhibition features work by artists from our first four issues, including original prints by local artists Jonathon Saunders, Timothy Parish, Daniel Hartney, Timothy Parish, Dani Heilbronn, Marita Albers, Louise Benton, Mat Selwyn, Franck Gohier, Theofilus Rigas, Shilo Mcnamee and Levin Diatschenko as well as internationally renowned artists including Tim Molloy and Pius Bak.

The exhibition at DVA Gallery will include a rich multimedia installation featuring animations inspired by the comics, behind the scenes making of and interviews with the artists involved and a special comic book library featuring original publications collecting the work of the artists involved.

The exhibition opens on July 8th and runs through to the 23rd of July, featuring original prints from WILD NORTH COMICS and workshops for anyone interested in learning the art of the making comics!
