Wagait Arts Festival ‘growing’
A festival within a festival
It’s the 10th year that artists and creatives from Wagait Beach and Belyuen will come together for a community art exhibition. This year there’ll be a weekend of art and good times with an exhibition, music, performance, workshops, markets and kids’ circus. The bar opens and festivities begin at 5.30 pm on 15th July.
After the official opening and awarding of prizes, we’ll have bands, a short film screening and a chance for people to look through the exhibition.
Sunday starts with creative writing and market stalls, craft workshops and a chance for kids to do circus.
Our theme this year is ‘growing’, so come along and see what a diverse, dynamic and wonderful creative community thrives on our side of the harbour.
Sealink ferries to Mandorah depart from Cullen Bay and buses will be available to bring people from the jetty to the festival at Wagait Beach Community Centre.
