This show speaks into the universe the things I wish I said to my father before he left and how I dealt with my queerness through magic of makeup. I am going to unravel words left unsaid and emotions that when released would would lighten the weight on my chest. For this show, image of my father takes its physical form through my partner who is a significant part of my healing.
Through colour I get to pave my own way independent of my father’s presence. It allows me to contour my troubles away, and highlight a bright future ahead filled with expression, beauty, and growth beyond my own limitation. Watch as I paint my way through the rising of my inner divine feminine.
I hope that through this show, I get to encourage healing through shared experience and break cycles before their Genesis. I aim to bleed and heal in front of everyone and share on stage the catharsis that art brings.
Duration: 1 hour with no interval
