The Voyage of Trepanger
A young seafarer recounts his personal odysseys to unravel the enigmatic stories from the land stripped of primal-voices. The journeys takes him to different realms, places worldwide and ultimately lead him back to his place of origin.
Inspired by the Sulawesi’s genesis; I La Galigo, the story of Hendrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt and the history of the sailors that connected between Australia and Indonesia through sea-cucumber trading in 17th century, Abdi reveals his personal journeys, to get connected with his past, present and imagine his future.
