The Body Naked
Join critically-acclaimed comedian and award-winning director, Neptune Henriksen, for a guided exploration of nudity, and the body on stage.
For a decade, Neptune has incorporated nudity into their theatre and comedy shows, harnessing the power of the naked body for dramatic, comedic, and political effect. While also learning and understanding the responsibility of said nudity, and the informed and consistent consent of the audience.
This is a chance for performers, and anyone who’s curious, to connect with the body as artistic subject, and explore the impact of nudity as a theatrical tool in both comedy and drama.
Please note: The workshop is ABOUT nudity, and may or may not contain nudity, depending on the comfort of the attendees. The workshop will operate on opt-in consent. Smart phones, cameras, and other video or photo equipment will not be permitted. Notebooks and “cheat sheets” will be provided.
