We are learning to be gentler with ourselves and others, and we begin to understand care in a whole new way. Upcoming online publication teh|cha invites writers of colour based in the Northern Territory to respond to the theme of ‘care’ through of live readings.
It is rare for people of colour to have the opportunity to share their experiences, creativity and strength in an empowering way.
Teh I Cha? Yes. Teh Tarik? Yes. Coffee? Sure. Chai Tea? No. Never.
Imagine a world where no one ever says “chai tea”. Join us for some Care.
Teh | Cha
After months and months of planning and excited conversations across this land via the internet, we are so proud to be taking gentle steps forward to introduce you to teh|cha magazine, an online publication by PoC, for PoC. We acknowledge that we live and work on the unceded lands of so-called Australia.
teh|cha will take many forms and launch into your life in different ways.
teh|cha is about fun. It is the wonderful downloads with your friends that take many forms, it is that hilarious rant over a coffee about a topic only you care about, it is a community filled with love and laughter.
We hope we will become your new favourite cup of tea.
