Violin and Guitar duo Renzo returnfor this special Fringe Festival performance breathing new life and soaring melodies into popular songs from bygone eras.

Renzo combines the classical talents of violinist Liz Elliott and raw musicality of country rock ‘n roll stomping song-smith JP Carroll (founder Camp Dog Band) in an unexpected instrumental weaving that renders all time favourites unrecognisable and transfixes audiences with their musical interpretations played from the heart.

JP Carroll first launched on the live Darwin music scene with his dynamic Camp Dog Band including performances at the Fringe and Darwin Festivals. Sharing a not well known love for the violin, a chance meeting with Liz Elliott who has performed internationally with artists from Cliff Richards to Jimmy Cliff led to the forming of Renzo.
