Prickly Pear
Prickly Pear is a multidisciplinary live arts performance prioritising the creative practice of women and gender diverse people. Music, dance, art, spoken word, theatre. Unravelling the tensions found at the intersections. Curiosity unfurls in the room. What will it become?
Prickly Pear cross-pollinates performers and audience alike, building relationships between artists that might not usually be on the same line-up. It is not a cabaret. It’s a truly beautiful space held by everybody to witness and be witnessed; for voices that get spoken over, to be amplified and uplifted.
14 performers including Anjelkah, Crystal Robins, Lena Kellie, Muffi Jaye, The Wanted Gems, VELIA, Dina Indrasafitri, Rosie Wild, Lindsey Matthews, Alex Morris, Jacinta Rose, Chelsea Skyeater, and Kodivine.
