Crystal Robins is a songwriter based on Larrakia country (Darwin NT) in the tropical top end of Australia.
She brings to the stage her unique & captivating mix of indie-folk with a country twist, layering loops & lush harmonies to accompany her relatable lyrics.
Crystal’s debut single release ‘Wildfire’ hit no. 6 on the National AMRAP Radio Charts, and was shortlisted in the Australian Songwriting Awards.
She has since been named as a finalist for an NT Music Award for ‘Folk Song of the Year’ 2022, for her song ‘So High’, and for an Australian Folk Music Award 2022.
You can find Crystal gigging regularly around Darwin’s local spots, and she has also toured her music around the country to Desert Festival (Alice Springs), Gulgong Folk Festival (NSW), Tamworth Country Music Festival (NSW) and Tablelands Folk Festival (QLD) over the past year.
Crystal is also passionate about her work as a music therapist in Darwin, with the belief that – “music is a powerful art form with the ability to heal through songwriting and storytelling and importantly to connect with others”.
