A Drawing for a Dream
A Drawing for A Dream allows participants to talk about their dreams, whether recent or memorable, in a judgement-free space and participants will receive a unique live-art abstract drawing of their dream. A personal art experience made for dreamers.
A Drawing for A Dream expands on the concepts of the Surrealists by further exploring dreams, subconscious, and psychoanalysis, in abstract and unconventional ways. A Drawing for A Dream questions the aesthetic legacy of the Surrealists, exploring dream imagery of individual participants, and considering the concept of whether a dream is a solitary individual experience, or a collective vision shared through imagery, aesthetics, and symbols.
This intimate conversation and personal art experience, involving only artist and participant, is intended for dreamers and art-lovers; people who engage in their inner dream world, ponder the meanings and symbols of their night-time visions, and those who love surrealist concepts, live art, and receiving an original artwork to take home.

The artist
Tash Brennfleck is a visual artist whose artwork explores intuition, subconscious, and the intangible. She is currently exploring the accessibility of art, in the physical and the conceptual. Creating bright, colourful abstract drawings, Tash’s works look like imagined galaxies with colours, shapes, and textures expanding across a composition. Tash is a returning Territorian having spent time working and making on the lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nations in Melbourne, she is excited to return to Larrakia land to connect and collaborate with the Darwin creative community.
