Write A Book In A Day

Ever wanted to write a book? Well you can knock it off your bucket list in 12 hours with the Write A Book In A Day challenge (WABIAD). Join a team of 10 people to spend 12 straight hours together writing a YA book, under the direction of experienced writer and teacher Lyndal Carbery, and aided by resources of the NT Writers’ Centre. Lyndal’s led a team several times, but this is the first time it will be held in Darwin. Completed books are donated to children in hospitals all across Australia, and funds raised through sponsorship go to The Kids’ Cancer Project.
